CIMS products have some very basic CRM (Customer Relationship Management) functionality built in. You can track your customers whether they are prospects or existing grave owners. However, some cemeteries, typically those with a large sales staff, require more sophisticated CRM. We decided to build an integration with the World Class CRM software Salesforce. Now, when your staff is reaching out to potential customers, and would like to track every communication or touch point with those customers, you can use Salesforce to track those interactions but have the data linked to a CIMS customer record.
Note: Cemeteries must be using a cloud-based CIMS product in order to use the Salesforce CRM Integration feature.
